best way to counter blind
I play ra most of the time and I run either r/mo or a/w. On the other hand, I'm constantly getting spammed with blind due to increased amount of eles recently. I'm practically shutdown 70% of battles. How do I coubter blind then.

hope you get a monk with good condition removal
or go /Mo and bring Mending Touch or whatever that skills called that removes 2 conditions
also Rune of Clarity I think, the purple one that gives -20% blind duration
also you can have a shield with the -20% blind duration as well.
plenty of options

Problem is, I don't have nightfall unlocked. Only acces to prophecies, factions and eye of the north. Sight beyond sight, mending, clarity and probably assasins remedy are inaccessible.

Signet. Cleanse yourself of Poison, Disease, and Blindness, and one additional condition.
4s Recharge and Zero energy as it's a Signet, plus it's a core skill so you can grab it from any campaign.

Fair amount of weakness right now as well from all the Earth Eles, so this may be a good choice for you.

ignore the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing idiots not adapted to sins, take Assassins Remedy, u remove the condition before you hit so u always hit unless they block
on another note, anet doesnt know when to nerf an OP skill like Bsurge anyway, was OP then and TOO OP now spam blind and dmg. they need to lower the duration of blind to match half the recharge or increase the recharge time

How about go /N and Plague Touch? Don't spam the skill, use it to get rid of blindness, and to also pass over conditions like Cracked/Weakness/DeepWound when it benefits you.
While it lacks any recharge and is cheap to cast, I guess it won't help much if it's applied often enough with covers, unless you at least pass over those conditions over your enemies and assist your team that way ^^
Plague Sending is also an alternative but you will sacrifice 10% health instead of of energy, slightly longer recharge but you can rid 2 condition at same time @4.
Or simply Sight Beyond Sight @0. It still gives you 8 seconds of immunity, it's fast cast, cheap cost and low recharge, so it can work well as a cover ench as well.

Yeah assassin's remedy is great too, but sometimes Sight Beyond sight just suites the build better.

Why would a warrior in RA want to use Draw Conditions?

Happy meant that your Monk should be carrying Draw, hence the "Guild Wars is a team game." If you are going for big streaks (Glad points) then you should build for having a "proper" team, meaning that you are relying on your Monk for condition and hex removal.

Yes Ariena, I get that. But since OP was talking about getting blinded in RA I didn't think that was relevant unless you try sync team which is an exploit I won't consider. It's true for other forms of PvP you should rely on your team mates to cover your back.
Now back to topic around countering blind in RA in which Draw Conditions isn't one of them.

It's not unreasonable to expect to get a Monk at least every few teams you cycle through. We already covered alternative self-removal such as Antidote Signet and others, but it is very important to recognize that Warriors are not built to be self-sustainable, and fitting them to be such is a trade in which you lose offensive potential.
Another approach is to disrupt the skill causing Blind with either a knockdown (Dev Hammer, Hammer Bash) or interrupt (Savage Slash, Disrupting Chop, Agonizing Chop) which prevents its application in the first place. This requires you to watch for pattens in your opponent's casting and careful timing as most of these skills have a longer activation than typical sources of Blind. If you are using both a blind-reducing rune and have a blind-reducing shield equipped when hit with blind (switch to this set when their blinding skill is recharged), you will have a short period without blind before it can be re-applied (versus typical builds).

For RA I would just go W/N with Plague Touch (or possible Plague Sending) as you can use it offensively and send that blind/cracked/weakn/whatever back at your opponent, then once rid of blind you can rupt that ele from doing more blind.

warrior=low mana+low regen so I don't think plague would be really effective.

It's not worse than Mending Touch which many warriors carry, it's not meant to be spammed, just to turn the tide ridding conditions that would turn you useless onto someone else.
If energy is an issue then Plague Sending is an alternative. It cost you 10% health instead (cheap alternative compared to being permablinded while getting nuked).

shockwave/bflash/b surge spam>draw.
need i remind you draw is 4 s re and an energy drainer to start with?
what you need to do is shut down the source of blind, be it through attun strip, locking the skill or remove the cond with ff. draw is just the last resort.
moreover, weakness makes physical threat equally useless as blind does, which only further supports the fact you need to deal with the source of cond spam rather than only with removal.
its a lot how proper skill balance should look like
